to quilt or not to quilt..............

well Ive been working on a applique quilt for my brand new g'baby and have never hit a road block like I have on this quilt. Usually I can see it in my head and let the fabric lead but this one has no mind of its own and if it has a voice it isnt speaking to me!!!
