Metal 30 Drawer Cabinet repurposed for Fabric Precuts

I came across this cabinet while the hubby was in the process of moving shops. The new owner wasn't interested in keeping it, so I loaded it up and carried it home... My awesome brother in law helped me with his expertise in wood fabrication of the new base.

This is the back of the cabinet, but the front and drawer fronts were just as rough...

This cabinet was dismantled and all the imperfections sanded away...

Drawers were divided in half for sanding and repainting...

Now it's all sanded and repainted black, white and red.
I've decided it's perfect for my fabric precuts and since I'm down sizing I'll need something slimmer to hold fabric until we're settled in our new home....

  4. Hi Shelia
You posted a photo of a 1955 Kenmore 177.640. Been trying to locate a manual. Do you know where I can find one. I was hoping this machine was good for the thicker projects. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
    Ps. I love your work
    Thanks Teri
