Sewing Companions are always tough!

Tulip is my constant sewing companion! He doesn't give negative opinions or feedback and always offers a kiss for a job well done! He never says "that doesn't match" he always says 'Hello" and if your on the phone he never interupts he always says "uh huh" and "ok" like he's part of the conversation! Tulips a single male looking for a sweet red girl- friend! Do you have a sewing patner or companion?

  1. My favorite companion was a beloved kitty I had for over 10 years. She was a long hair orange/while tabby with darker marbling through her fur. She used to follow me everywhere and sit next to me when I sewed. Now I have a Pomeranian--I thinks she follows me hoping I will drop food!

I love your bird. I have always wanted one but usually had cats and didn't want to torture the pour thing. I have heard they live a long time, too, so one has to be prepared to take care of them for many years.

  2. LoL Tulip is not alone in the Hartford household, he has 2 doxies and a chiuahua to run with, He's not afraid of the dogs and often is found right next to them at the dog food bowls! He recently turned 24 and is expected to live to see 75 or 80, we have already prepared the kids who will inherit him along with the house! LOL

  3. Oh very smart thing to do, to decide ahead of time where Tulip will go to live someday. And to make sure that Tulip will live with people he knows.

  4. Mary I doubt very seriously that he will out live me, cause I threaten him just about everyday, he gets up on my sewing table and if I dont pay him any attention he starts throwing my supplies onto the floor! LOL

  5. I have a cockatiel named "Little Nicky" He does not get along with my dogs. Max can be a booger. He spits seeds at me as I pass by and sings when we start up the bread machine. He is in our dining room in the middle of an open floor paln int he middle of everyone.

Max is my min pin he is my sewing buddy he keeps my feet warm and helps me press the foot control if he thinks i am sewing to slow. He loves for me to sew anything furry and fleecey.

My other dog Loki just chews up my pillows if i dont pay attention to her and I spend too much time sewing.
